Agile Robots and its subsidiary Franka Robotics presented a connected vision: intelligent robots capable of perceiving, learning, and performing tasks, bringing artificial intelligence to the physical world, at two of Europe's leading trade fairs last August.

Agile Robots showcased two advanced automation solutions for manufacturers and system integrators among 300 exhibitors at Messe Zürich:

  • Diana 7 - Force-Controlled Assembly: Diana 7 's torque sensors at all seven joints monitor the forces applied to the engine cylinder head assembly in real time, ensuring correct positioning and minimizing the risk of jamming and part damage.
  • Thor 12 – Flexible robotic welding. With a drag-and-drop teaching system and minimal code control, users can quickly and flexibly create and adjust welding paths, delivering consistent welds for corner, vertical, and inclined welding, even through gaps as narrow as 1 mm.

Franka Robotics  demonstrated how AI developers can transform human expertise into structured data for training intelligent robot behavior as a Silver Supporter of IJCAI-ECAI 2026.

Visitors used the Franka GELLO Duo to remotely control the FR3 Duo robot, while LABS recorded each demonstration as training data for two-handed control skills. This solution enabled AI teams to compile repeatable demonstrations and build scalable robot learning datasets, thanks to its user-friendly remote control connectivity, high-performance robot hardware, and integrated, one-step data storage process.

The two trade shows in Switzerland and Germany highlighted Agile Robots' competitive strengths: bridging advanced AI research, a reliable robotics platform, and practical applications such as industrial automation for manufacturers, system integrators, and AI researchers across the Asia-Pacific region. The group's products offer a scalable pathway from experimentation and development to real-world deployment.
