AiMOGA Robotics, the artificial intelligence and robotics company of Grupo Chirey, officially unveiled Mobo , its first humanoid companion robot for the home , at an event held on October 21 in Wuhu, China. With this launch and the opening of pre-orders worldwide, the company is expanding its operations from commercial services into the home robotics market.
The announcement represents a new step in applying technologies developed for the automotive industry to everyday environments . Perception, decision-making, and motion control systems that are part of intelligent vehicles can also be leveraged to develop robots capable of interacting with people and performing tasks in physical spaces.
Mobo: artificial intelligence to support families
Mobo works using MoAgent , an artificial intelligence system developed by AiMOGA that integrates environment recognition, natural language interaction, motion control, and long-term memory.
Its architecture combines local and cloud processing , allowing it to interpret requests, organize complex tasks, and adapt its responses to different situations within the home.
The robot has 22 degrees of freedom , the ability to recognize family members, and remember their preferences. According to the company, it also incorporates end-to-end data protection and privacy mechanisms.
Its development includes three main applications : companionship for older adults, interaction and learning for children, and support for family activities.
During the launch, 35 pioneering users were appointed as Mobo Global Experience Ambassadors , who will contribute to the product evaluation and improvement process. Since its initial presentation at the World Robot Conference in August, AiMOGA has garnered interest from over 10,000 potential users across various markets.
A network of 300 centers to promote domestic robotics
As part of its business expansion, AiMOGA announced plans to establish an initial network of 300 experience centers worldwide , where consumers will be able to learn about and interact with its robotic developments.
The company will also strengthen support for its business partners through technological solutions, digital marketing, financial and insurance services , as well as after-sales service.
In addition, it plans to develop a global robot rental brand , with equipment operation and management services for sectors such as health, transportation, education, security, culture and tourism.
Currently, AiMOGA has over 3,000 units delivered commercially and maintains a presence in more than 60 countries and regions. Its portfolio includes various specialized solutions:
Mobo also participated in the presentation and global driving test activities of Chirey Q , during the Chirey International User Summit 2026, where it showcased family interaction and companionship applications.
Automotive experience as the basis of robotic intelligence
One of AiMOGA's key differentiators is its leveraging of Grupo Chirey's technological and industrial infrastructure. According to the company, its robotic developments utilize resources from across the group's entire automotive supply chain and reuse approximately 70% of its research and development technologies.
This integration allows leveraging existing capabilities in environmental perception , motion control, manufacturing, and quality management, with the aim of reducing development costs and facilitating larger-scale production.
The strategy also relies on ChireyMind , an artificial intelligence model specializing in physical applications that serves as a technological platform for various developments of the group, from intelligent driving systems to robots, electric aircraft, energy solutions and automated agricultural machinery.
With Mobo, AiMOGA aims to bring these capabilities to the home environment and expand the possibilities of artificial intelligence applied to services . The combination of automotive technology, industrial infrastructure, and user feedback is part of its strategy to develop solutions tailored to different needs and markets.
The company is backed by the automotive manufacturing expertise and robust supply chain of the Chirey Group. This industrial foundation allows it to develop robotic solutions applicable to a wide range of sectors . Its development philosophy is based on the idea that real-world scenarios define product planning, while the products themselves drive technological advancement. Thanks to Chirey's industrial ecosystem, AiMOGA continues to innovate, offering high-performance robots that generate value in various sectors of the Mexican market.
