SC Codeworks, a leading provider of flexible warehouse management solutions, announced the release of Codeworks Enterprise 4.0, a major evolution of its enterprise WMS that brings full AI integration, a redesigned user interface, and a modern foundation for future innovation across the warehouse.
At the center of Codework Enterprise 4.0 is CODI, Codeworks’ AI-powered assistant, now fully integrated across the platform. CODI enables users to interact with their warehouse in plain language, quickly surfacing insights such as order status, inventory constraints, and operational bottlenecks without requiring manual reporting or complex navigation. In addition to day-to-day operational support, CODI also acts as a support agent to assist operators in fully utilizing the platform and maximizing its effectiveness. It simplifies onboarding and training by allowing users to ask questions directly within the system and reduces dependence on documentation searches and technology expertise.
“This release is about giving warehouse operators real, practical intelligence at their fingertips,” said Suresh Chappidi, CEO of SC Codeworks. “Enterprise 4.0 moves us from traditional warehouse software toward an AI-driven platform that actively supports decision-making, improves efficiency, and helps teams derive value from the system they already rely on.”
Enterprise 4.0 also introduces a redesigned user interface built with direct input from warehouse operators and managers. The new UI emphasizes clarity, speed, and usability, making it easier for both experienced users and new team members to navigate the system. Enhanced mobile support, photo upload capabilities, and improved access to documentation are designed to better reflect how work happens on the warehouse floor.
“As the industry changes, technology has to meet operators where they are,” said Amy Dean, VP of Operations at SC Codeworks. “Warehouses need modern, intelligent tools, but they also need systems that can be run by people who may not consider themselves tech experts. Enterprise 4.0 strikes that balance by bringing advanced capabilities into a system that feels approachable, intuitive, and built for the people actually running the floor.”
The release also strengthens Codeworks’ integration framework, making it easier for customers to connect with ERP systems and other critical technologies. Additionally, the Codeworks Analytics module provides clearer, more actionable insights, helping teams respond faster to operational issues and plan more effectively.
While Enterprise 4.0 delivers immediate improvements in AI, usability, and data intelligence, it also establishes the foundation for future innovation. Over the course of this series, Codeworks plans to roll out additional capabilities, including deeper integrations with robotics, automation, and advanced orchestration technologies as customer needs evolve.
“Enterprise 4.0 is not a finish line. It’s the platform we’ll continue building on,” Chappidi added. “Our goal is to give customers a system that grows with their operations, without forcing disruptive change.”
