Altera Corporation, the world's largest independent FPGA solutions provider, announced the schedule for its Innovators Day global event series, taking place across North America, Asia, and Europe between October 2026 and February 2027. Designed for FPGA developers, system architects, and engineers, the event series will showcase the latest innovations in programmable computing to help attendees accelerate the development of next-generation AI infrastructure, intelligent edge systems, communications platforms, and autonomous machines.

As demand for AI, intelligent infrastructure, and real-time computing continues to grow, Innovators Day brings together Altera engineers, industry experts, and a broad ecosystem of FPGA partners to showcase how programmable hardware and AI-powered development tools are helping developers accelerate design for the AI era through greater productivity, faster innovation, and simplified development.

Registration is now open. Developers can reserve their place at the event nearest to them by visiting Altera Innovators Day event series.

Attendees will discover how the latest FPGA innovations and ecosystem partner solutions accelerate the development of more intelligent, secure systems through expert-led technical sessions, and live demonstrations. Whether they're experienced FPGA designers or exploring programmable hardware for the first time, developers will gain practical techniques, modern development methodologies, and proven design approaches they can immediately apply to their next, real-world project.

Throughout the event, attendees will explore how programmable computing is enabling innovation across today's fastest-growing markets, including:

  • Accelerate AI Infrastructure: Learn how programmable computing complements CPUs and GPUs with deterministic processing, low-latency data movement, and efficient AI inference for next-generation AI infrastructure.
  • Build Flexible Communications Networks: Discover how programmable hardware delivers higher bandwidth, lower latency, and the flexibility to rapidly adapt to evolving communications standards.
  • Create Smarter Industrial Systems: Explore how real-time processing and deterministic control are powering intelligent factories, industrial automation, and edge computing applications.
  • Power Robotics and Physical AI: See how FPGAs enable autonomous machines through real-time sensor fusion, deterministic AI, and adaptive hardware for safe, intelligent operation.

Attendees will also engage with Altera's ecosystem of hardware, software, IP, and design partners, who will demonstrate practical solutions that simplify development, accelerate deployment, and help engineering teams bring products to market faster.

"Innovators Day is built for developers, with a mission to help them accelerate design for the AI era," said Mike Fitton, vice president of product and corporate marketing at Altera. "From AI infrastructure and communications to industrial systems and autonomous machines, attendees will gain practical insights, hands-on experience, and proven techniques they can immediately apply to build better systems and innovate faster."
