Pudu Robotics, a global leader in commercial service robotics, has launched the PUDU ET1, an AI-native compact scrubber dryer robot  designed for small commercial spaces . As the first product in the new PUDU E series, the ET1 is built for cleaning zones ranging from 100 to 800 square meters , including convenience stores, pharmacies, chain restaurants, business and economy hotels, and office spaces . Featuring a compact body, commercial-grade cleaning performance, and full process automation, the ET1 introduces advanced robotic cleaning technology to high-traffic, space-constrained environments, marking a new step in the field of AI-native cleaning for small commercial spaces .

A new standard for compact commercial cleaning

As cleaning automation expands from large facilities to smaller commercial stores, businesses are requiring robots capable of navigating tight spaces without sacrificing performance or autonomy. Large robots are often difficult to deploy in confined spaces, while smaller machines typically require more manual intervention. The PUDU ET1 bridges this gap for small stores by combining compact mobility, commercial-grade cleaning performance , and full process automation .

Powerful cleaning that finishes it all at once

The ET1 integrates scrubbing , sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping into a single robot. With a front sweeping and rear scrubbing structure, it can handle dry debris and wet stains in a single operation, enabling stores to increase cleaning efficiency without repetitive manual work.

For deeper stain removal, the ET1 combines a scrubbing roller speed of up to 800 rpm with a suction power of 20 kPa to remove grease, footprints, and stubborn stains while efficiently recovering contaminants and wastewater. For sticky stains commonly found in restaurants, convenience stores, and retail spaces, the ET1 supports 85-degree Celsius hot water scrubbing , supplied from a docking station and maintained by the robot during operation.

The ET1 also features a real-time roller mop self-cleaning function that helps reduce dirt accumulation and prevent secondary contamination by continuously keeping the roller fresh. The stain-free cleaning  design quickly recovers contaminated water to keep the floor dry with minimal residual moisture, contributing to a reduced risk of slipping in customer spaces.

Automation Beyond Cleaning

The ET1 comes with a fully automated 8-in-1 docking station that includes automatic charging, fresh water refilling, wastewater discharge, detergent dispensing, roller mop cleaning, squeegee cleaning, roller drying, and water heating functions . After each task is completed, the ET1 automatically returns to the station to complete its own cleaning cycle, reducing daily manual intervention by store employees.

The ET1 is also equipped with an automatic dust collection function that removes dust, hair, and debris after cleaning, further reducing the burden of daily maintenance. Through this end-to-end automation, small commercial spaces can move beyond robot-assisted cleaning toward a more unmanned operational model.

AI Magic Cleaning for Adaptive Operations

The ET1 continues PUDU Cleaning's AI-native technology roadmap through AI Magic Cleaning, which integrates perception, motion control, and cleaning systems into a single intelligent workflow . It supports autonomous mapping , automatic stain recognition, cleaning heatmaps, and AI adaptive cleaning , continuously optimizing each task based on real-time floor conditions.

With AI floor surface and stain recognition capabilities , the ET1 can detect carpet boundaries to lift the scrubbing roller to prevent the carpet from getting wet, or lift the sweeping brush and side brush over spilled areas to prevent dirt from spreading and causing secondary contamination. For stubborn stains, AI Adaptive Scrubbing automatically slows down the movement speed, increases the roller speed, and boosts the water spray volume to perform deeper cleaning.

Designed for easy deployment and chain-scale utilization

For chain brands, ET1 is designed for easy deployment, operation, and maintenance.

With automatic mapping and one-click start  features, store employees can begin cleaning without complex setup or manual mapping, lowering deployment barriers and enabling faster in-store demonstrations.

This robot also features an intuitive operating system with dedicated modes for managers and daily operators, built-in guidance functions, and proactive maintenance notifications .

The modular cleaning components are designed for quick separation and cleaning, allowing the team to maintain the robot more easily while reducing long-term operating costs.

Design for narrow passages and busy stores

Designed for actual small-scale retail environments, the ET1 can navigate spaces with a minimum width of 50cm and a height of 60cm , allowing it to move through narrow aisles, spaces between shelves, and low areas in convenience stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. It can operate even during business hours, minimizing disruption to customers and employees and making cleaning more practical throughout the day in dynamic commercial spaces.

The edge cleaning  feature also improves cleaning coverage along walls, shelves, and corners, addressing areas commonly missed during daily cleaning.

Value beyond a vacuum cleaner

In retail scenarios, the ET1 can be optionally equipped with a 21.5-inch advertising display , allowing stores to display promotions, product campaigns, and brand content. Through cloud-based content management and customized body wrapping, this robot can also be utilized as a mobile in-store marketing touchpoint that creates additional value beyond cleaning.

The ET1, the first product in the PUDU E series, represents a strategic expansion of Pudu's commercial cleaning portfolio. Along with the PUDU CC1, MT1, and BG1 series, the ET1 enables Pudu to provide cleaning solutions across commercial spaces of various sizes, ranging from small shops to large commercial complexes, supermarkets, office buildings, warehouses, and logistics facilities.

According to Frost & Sullivan’s 2025 Global Embodied Intelligence and Commercial Service Robotics Independent Market Research Report, Pudu Robotics ranks first globally in commercial cleaning robotics with a 29% market share based on revenue. The launch of the ET1 further strengthens Pudu’s leadership in the commercial cleaning robotics sector and reflects the company’s long-term commitment to real-world commercial scenarios, AI-native innovation, and scalable robotic solutions.
